How fortunate we are in Sun City Grand to have four beautiful golf courses to play and four different options available to meet our individual needs and desires! Before you fill out an application, you may want to read about those choices described under GOLF PROGRAMS AVAILABLE AT SUN CITY GRAND. The little self-assessment below might also be helpful in selecting the best fit for your golf game:
1. Have or do you play 18-holes on a regular basis?
2. Do you have an established handicap or would you like help setting one up?
3. Do you know the rules of golf?
4. Can you easily “keep the pace”?
5. Do you want to play “serious, competitive, high-spirited” golf with friendly, fun women?

GOLF PROGRAMS AVAILABLE AT SUN CITY GRAND
CACTUS PRACTICE
Cactus Practice is available to all Sun City Grand residents who are beginners and would like to learn the fundamentals. Putting, chipping, full swing, golf etiquette, as well as rules, are taught in a group environment. Information is available at Cimarron Golf Course.
150 CLUB

Provides an atmosphere where new golfers can begin playing under actual conditions, and experienced golfers can improve their game. Play is at Cimarron Golf Club and is a 9-Hole (Par 27) League. You tee off on all holes from 150 yards or less; this is not a handicap league. Information is available at Cimarron Golf Course.
LADIES GRAND NINERS

The Ladies Grand Niners play 9 holes each Tuesday mainly at the Desert Springs Golf Course. Information is available at Desert Springs Golf Course.
GLGA 18-HOLE GOLF LEAGUE

The Grand Ladies Golf Association (GLGA) 18-Hole League is affiliated with the AGA, and members are required to comply with AGA rules. Play is on Tuesdays, is rotated among all four of Sun City Grand’s golf courses, and is an 18-hole event. You must have a current handicap or establish one within 30 days of joining the club in order to compete in weekly play events. The maximum handicap allowed on each golf course is 40.
